Admissions

Orion Academy is a special academy for pupils aged 10-16. All of our students have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) with a range of needs, but most significantly we work with those who have Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASC) and other associated difficulties.
We work closely with Oxfordshire County Council on admissions at our academy. All students who attend Orion Academy have an Education, Health and Care Plan in which Orion Academy is named as provision in Section I.

All admission are managed by Oxfordshire County Council. If you are interested and considering Orion Academy for a place for your child or young person in the first instance please contact your SEND Officer who will arrange for a consultation to be sent to the school.

All consultations must be sent via the local authority to the Headteacher at consultations@orionacademy.co.uk

For any local authorities enquiring about placements please also copy consultations to Oxfordshire County Council at sencentralteam@oxfordshire.gov.uk
